Samsung Video Library apk

Samsung Video Library app is one of the most popular multimedia apps among Android users, especially Samsung phone users. Because, as the name suggests, it’s Samsung’s proprietary video library or multimedia app and it comes as prebuilt in your Samsung Android devices. And as the most Samsung apps, Samsung Push Service it’s also free to use. Now, while we have a ton of other multimedia apps out there in Google play store and they are also free, why one would want to use this app? Is it merely a bloatware like some other Samsung apps? What’s so special about it, what are the pros and what are the downsides of this app? We will discuss all these within a moment, but before that, if you don’t have this app in your phone yet, you can install Samsung Video Library apk from other alternative sites which you’ll be able to find by a quick Google search.

Is it a bloatware? Technically and theoretically, yes it is. However, bloatware is something which most people don’t want or need in their phone, or plenty of better alternatives are there in the market and which spams your phone with unsolicited ads. But honestly, who doesn’t need a video library cum gallery cum multimedia organizer in their Android phone? And are there other better alternatives than Samsung Video Library app? Options are there for sure, but better? We have a doubt about that. Samsung Video Library app is undoubtedly at par with other popular multimedia player and gallery apps, if not better! Featurewise, this app can replace two or three different apps combined easily with its functionality. Lastly, this app doesn’t spam your phone with ads and unnecessary notifications. So, calling it a bloatware would be unfair, just my two cents here.

The pros and cons: This app has all the features a video library cum organizer app should have, and some more. You can view your video files by list or grid, search certain video file by typing part of its name, and sort the files ascending or descending way by their title or time. You can zoom to enlarge a thumbnail for better viewing by pinching on screen as it supports multi-touch function. You can tag the video files by their types like slow motion or hyperlapse video, etc. And you can resume playing from the exact point of the last video, it displays what video you played last.

Function wise, it makes organizing and sharing video files a breeze. If you have multiple folders on your phone, you can select one or more than one video files and move them from one to another. You can rename a video file, and make the file or the entire folder private if your phone supports Samsung Knox. Nobody would be able to find those private video files or folders except you, because it will ask for the password to open those. Sharing videos within Samsung Video Library is also pretty one-touch function and you can share them numerous way, like by Bluetooth, email, Wi-Fi, etc.

Talking about cons, and frankly, we did not find any. There’s nothing to not like in this app and it does work pretty neat. Sure we would love to have more features in the app, but that doesn’t count as a con, right?
